As a 26 year veteran of the advertising business, Thomas K. Sutphin (Kem) began his career with SSC&B/Lintas in New York as a media buyer and planner on the Arrid Extra Dry and Lipton Cup-a-Soup accounts.

In 1974, Kem started his own ad agency, Marsh/Sutphin & Co., which he successfully ran for over ten years as the hands-on Creative Director and CEO.

In 1986, Kem joined Heritage Professional Search. During his first year he developed the advertising desk and was named 'Consultant of the Year'.

In 1988 T.K. Sutphin & Associates was founded, which strictly focuses on the ever-changing ad business throughout the United States and Canada.

Kem Sutphin is a graduate of West Virginia University and a Vietnam veteran.
